I attended Munro College on the Island of Jamaica between September 1973 and June 1978. In 1979, I moved to New York City and earned a BA degree in physics from Hunter College. I taught physics and mathematics in the New York Public School system. In 1997, I moved to Virginia, and have been working as a physics teacher in one of Virginia's counties. While in Virginia, I earned a Master's degree in Public Policy (Transportation Policy, Operations and Logistics) from George Mason University.
